Recommended if it's your first event as a family with children over 10.

Entered: 2
Short Blue
Technical, for experienced orienteers.
Courses have quite significant climb in them (this is St Martha's Hill after all)
Car Parking
There is no managed parking. There are 2 free car parks within easy walking distance in Halfpenny Lane and Guildford Lane, and one small one slightly further away up Guildford Lane where it turns into White Lane. They are of limited capacity and to try to ensure they do not get overfull, we have limited and spread out the race start times.
The car park at Newlands Corner is rather further to walk (1.4 miles) but is unlikely to fill up - W3W ///swim.boxing.door
Toilets
There are no toilets at the event (there are toilets at Newlands Corner if you choose that car park).
To Assembly area and the Start
The assembly, start, finish and download are near St Martha's church (W3W ///stored.total.bake) on top of the hill and will be signed 600m from the two nearest car parks (Halfpenny Lane and Guildford Lane). Please stay on the signed route to avoid finding any controls before you start. If you park at Newlands Corner, follow the North Downs Way (westward) for 1.4 miles to get to St Martha's church.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome
Please keep them on a lead in the assembly/start/finish areas.
Results
Please download promptly after you finish your course. Results will not be on display at the event. Final results will be published on the Guildford Orienteers website after the event.
Participant Code of Conduct
I'm sure you don't need to be reminded to be courteous to other users of the area while you are competing, but all the same here is a reminder!
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct (revised September 2022).
Covid-19
Whilst restrictions have been lifted, Covid-19 is very much still in circulation and we encourage a continued responsible approach to orienteering events. People have different risk tolerances and we like to be mindful of, and to respect, others' personal choices as normality returns.
Please do not attend if you or a member of your household has Covid-19 symptoms.

This will be opened only if you require medical treatment and are not conscious. It will be destroyed at the end of the event.
